Yellowstone National Park includes at least 45 named waterfalls and cascades, and there are even hundreds more unnamed water channels, and yet undiscovered waterfalls of more than 15 feet (4.6 meters) high. The highest plunge type waterfall is the Lower Falls of Yellowstone Falls that reach 308 feet (94 meters).

The following South-west waterfalls exist, including Albright Falls, Cave Falls, Bechler Falls, The Cascades of the Firehole, Emerald Pool Falls, Ouzel Creek, Fairy Falls, Fern Cascades, Gwinna Falls, Hourglass Falls, Iris Falls, Lewis Canyon Falls, Upper Falls, Lower Falls, Lewis Falls, Lily Falls, Ouzel Falls, Quiver Cascade, Ragged Falls, Rainbow Falls, Silver Scarf Falls, Union Falls, and many others.
